Orlaigh Quinn was Secretary General of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment 2023. As a career civil servant, she held senior leadership positions in several public bodies, including the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, the Department of Social Protection and the European Commission. She is currently a board member of Business in the Community Ireland; The Convention Centre Dublin; the Institute for International and European Affairs; and University of Galway J.E Cairnes School of Business. She is a former Visiting Research Fellow of Trinity College Dublin and holds a Doctorate in Governance from Queen’s University Belfast.
