Derek Moran is a former Secretary General of the Department of Finance. He served in a number of senior roles in the civil service and was a member of the Central Bank Commission, National Treasury Management Agency, Chairman of the Financial Stability Group and an external member of the Scottish Government’s Exchequer Board. He currently serves on a number of bodies, including as Chairman of the National Shared Service Office, the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board, Professional Standards Board of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Governing Body of Technological University Dublin.
