About The Prize
The Foundation for Fiscal Studies presents the annual Miriam Hederman O’Brien Prize to recognise outstanding contributors in the area of Irish fiscal, economic and social policy. The aim is to recognise those whose work contributes to informed discussion of key fiscal, economic and social policy issues.
Guidelines
Eligibility Guidelines
Open Access
No age or nationality restrictions.
Previous Winners
Cannot be awarded the main Prize more than once. May still be nominated and recognised with other awards.
Collaborative Work
Jointly-produced work is eligible if no contributor has previously won the main Prize.
Institutional Submissions
Work produced by an institution is eligible, even if the institution has won before.
Funding Disclosure
Any third-party or organisational funding supporting the work must be disclosed.
