The Foundation for Fiscal Studies hosted the “Future of …” Financial Services event in collaboration with PwC. The event focused on The Future of Financial Services Sector in Ireland.
While the focus of this session was on Financial Services, the intention was that the framing of the discussion would be of broad relevance to all sectors of the economy and touched on a wide range of broader economic and social dimensions.
Vasileios Madouros, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank shared his views on the changing landscape in the financial services industry. The panel discussion included an audience Q&A session, moderated by Josephine Feehily, former Chair of the Revenue Commissioners and board member of the foundation. Josephine was be joined by: Denis Curran, Head of Financial Services Division, IDA; Olwyn Alexander, Global Sustainability Industries Leader, PwC and Vasileios Madouros, Deputy Governor, Central Bank.
